Your voice is yours
This page explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it. If anything here is unclear, write to aconsecratedsound@gmail.com.
The short version: we collect only what the Method needs to reveal your voice to you. We do not sell your data, and we never make your recordings public or share them with anyone you have not chosen to share them with.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email, so you can sign in across the web dashboard and the app with one shared profile.
- Voice recordings — the short guided sounds you record during a check or workout, and the measurements derived from them.
- Wearable & health signals — if you choose to connect a device (Oura, Apple Health, Garmin, and others), the sleep, recovery, and heart data you authorize.
- Your inputs — morning check-ins, setlists, and the context you tell the Method about your week.
How we use it
Your data is used to measure your voice against your own baseline and turn it into honest, actionable benchmarks — and for nothing else. We do not sell your data. We do not use your recordings or health signals for advertising.
Connecting a wearable
Wearable connections are made through each provider’s official OAuth flow, and the access tokens are stored encrypted. You grant the connection, and you can revoke it at any time — from your account settings here and from the provider’s own dashboard. Revoking a connection stops any further sync.
Your control
- Access & export — you can request a copy of the data tied to your account.
- Deletion — you can ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it, including your recordings.
- Disconnect — you can unlink any wearable at any time without deleting the rest of your account.
To make any of these requests, email aconsecratedsound@gmail.com.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. We limit access to what is needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your voice and your body data with the seriousness they deserve.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date below and, for meaningful changes, let you know. Continuing to use Consecrated Sound after a change means you accept the updated policy. See also our Terms.
